  3. Great to see you 'writing' so well again! The music room looks terrific - well done Marian - plenty of selves to fill. Happy New Year to you both and to Skippy and Spike, who looks as though he is really going to be handful - don't leave anything on the floor!

What price Van the Man becoming a Dad at 64...the mind boggles!!!

    Much love

  4. Hello Simon and Marian

Happy New Year to you both. The sun shines brightly on this New Year's Day morning here in Brighton. I am about to start hammering away on the computer - the bearded man would be happy with my productivity.

    Love

  7. Hi Marion and Simon,

My family has a powered wheel chair that is currently not being used, as unfortuately my grandpa passed away on the 3rd of december. I have spoken to my family and we would like to offer it to Simon to use while he is waiting for his own.

It is only a couple of years old, and a very good powered wheel chair, due to this we do want to eventually sell it to recoup some of the cost, but we would like to help you in the mean time.

  10. So good to see you have a powered wheel chair, thanks to Blake. Can we have some fotos of Simon motoring around please M?

It is so iced up here in Henfield, that the idea of motorised travel sounds fantastic. The hospital has sent a 4 wheel drive to collect Mitch, but she has to take an overnight bag, they cannot guarantee to bring her back :-(

Love to you both (and Skippy, who I am sure is very relieved that Spike has gone to live with Mel and Pen) x

  11. Hsppy new year to you both, looking forward to more updates on your progress Simon, they are read with great interest by quite a few of us at Sussex :-)

BTW - we approached the "delinquent dog chases old cats" problem by getting two new feisty kittens who simply attacked the dog - who now seems to quite like them.

Mind you the older cats were not that impressed with the new kittens either and they still won't come anywhere near the dog .. the parrot meanwhile quite enjoys attacking the dog from the safety of its cage ... now Parrots are good company and all of our cats have been wonderfully flummoxed by a big bird that talks to them - and miaows back...
